Kateryna Ionova is a student of International Relations at the Institute Of International Relations (IIR), Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (KNU), and a Leader from the Integrity Leadership School by USAID Support to Anti-Corruption Champion Institutions (SACCI) and America House Kyiv.

Born in Dnipro, Ukraine, Kateryna is a Youth Leader and a dancer: She has been dancing since her childhood for 12 years, doing ballroom dance, then contemporary and classical choreography. She has taken dance performances both in Dnipro and in Kyiv, and she won international competitions.

Kateryna is very keen on music: She graduated from music school and still enjoy playing piano. She is a language lover, who is currently focused on the German language. And she is highly interested in the topics of healthy lifestyle and sport: She trains at the gym everyday and worked as a fitness instructor for a while.
