Brigita Labanovska is a FLEX Alumna 2020 from Latvia. During that period, she made great friendships with Ukrainians, actively taught Americans about the Latvian culture, organized community service events and volunteered for over 100 hours. After returning to Latvia, she organized charity events and participated in Global Online Events with other FLEX Alumni to educate Latvians about the American culture. Brigita believes in standing up for those who are being oppressed in any way, in making the world a more open-minded & loving place and she is starting with her own country Latvia.
